Renovation at Henrik Ibsens gate

Henrik Ibsens gate 4 has been given a facelift. This building enjoys one of the finest locations in Oslo, and now looks better than ever.

"We have renovated and redecorated the facade, and this has helped to bring out the character of this fine building. We have also added new external awnings to provide better shade", explains Knut M. Tolo, Project Manager at Ferd Real Estate.

A further improvement that Oslo residents will appreciate when the light summer nights are succeeded by dark autumn evenings is the new illumination of the building’s facade.

"We very much want this building, which is very typical of the 1890s, to make a positive contribution to the street scene even in the hours of darkness, so we have installed discreet external illumination", explains Knut M. Tolo.

Ferd Real Estate purchased this property in January 2011, and the office space of 3,900 square metres is fully let to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition to the office space, the building has retail and restaurant space at street level.
